About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Truck Drivers Supervisor to join our team at Fantastic Transport Inc. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our truck drivers and ensuring the smooth execution of our transportation operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of truck drivers to ensure timely and efficient delivery of goods.
    • Provide guidance and support to drivers to improve their performance and productivity.
  • Operational Management
    • Develop and implement effective transportation strategies to optimize routes and reduce costs.
    • Monitor and analyze transportation data to identify areas for improvement.
  • Health and Safety
    • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and policies.
    • Investigate and report any incidents or accidents.
  • Training and Development
    • Provide training and coaching to drivers to enhance their skills and knowledge.
    • Develop and implement training programs to improve driver performance.
  • Communication and Collaboration
    • Communicate effectively with drivers, dispatchers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless operations.
    • Collaborate with other departments to resolve issues and improve processes.
Requirements
  • Education
    • College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year.
  • Experience
    • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a supervisory or leadership role.
  • Skills
    • Strong leadership and communication skills.
    • Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
    • Knowledge of transportation regulations and policies.
