Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Food Service Attendant to join our team at Second Cup Cafe. As a key member of our cafe team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a clean and welcoming environment for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation and Service
    • Prepare and serve food and beverages to customers in a fast-paced environment
    • Operate dishwashers to wash dishes, glassware, and flatware
    • Package take-out food and prepare food for display
  • Cleanliness and Sanitation
    • Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, work surfaces, and storage areas
    • Handle and store cleaning products and supplies
  • Customer Service
    • Provide exceptional customer service and respond to customer inquiries
    • Take customers' orders and operate a point-of-sale system
  • Inventory and Supply Management
    • Receive, unpack, and store supplies and inventory
    • Monitor inventory levels and report to management as needed
  • Teamwork and Communication
    • Work collaboratively with cafe team members to achieve sales and customer service goals
    • Communicate effectively with customers and team members
