About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Food Service Team Member at Second Cup Cafe. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless dining experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation and Service: Prepare, heat, and finish simple food items, operate dishwashers to wash dishes, glassware, and flatware, and package take-out food.
  • Cleanliness and Sanitation: Clean and sanitize kitchen areas, including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances, and equipment, and handle and store cleaning products.
  • Inventory Management: Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas.
  • Customer Service: Serve customers at counters or buffet tables, take customers' orders, and handle customer inquiries in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Teamwork: Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure a smooth and efficient service.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: Will train.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week.
Work Environment

This is a fast-paced environment that requires physical stamina and the ability to work in a team. The ideal candidate will be able to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
