About the Role

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation: Assist in the preparation, cooking, and presentation of food items, including portioning and wrapping foods, preparing, heating, and finishing simple food items.
  • Cleaning and Sanitation: Maintain a clean and sanitary kitchen environment, including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances, and equipment.
  • Inventory Management: Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas.
  • Food Handling: Handle and store food safely, including washing, peeling, and cutting vegetables and fruit.
  • Teamwork: Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient food preparation and service.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: Willingness to train and learn.
  • Language: English language proficiency.
  • Work Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week.
