Position Overview

CharityVillage is in search of a Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to spearhead the Representation, Negotiation, and Advocacy initiatives of our organization. As a leading entity in the charitable sector, CharityVillage is dedicated to representing the interests of various non-profit organizations. The CEO will be instrumental in promoting the employment rights of our members and improving working conditions within the sector.

The Chief Executive Officer role requires collaboration with a dedicated team to uphold the core values, vision, and mission of CharityVillage. The ideal candidate will exemplify strategic, thoughtful, and empathetic leadership, nurturing a united team committed to advocating for the workplace rights of our members.

Key Responsibilities

The Chief Executive Officer will report to the Board of Directors, overseeing all operational aspects of CharityVillage. Primary responsibilities include:

  • Negotiating with stakeholders on labor relations and administrative matters
  • Providing strategic planning advice to the Board
  • Advocating for members across multiple platforms

Essential Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A minimum of 5 years in senior leadership roles
  • In-depth knowledge of labor relations practices and regulations
  • A proven track record in managing unionized teams
