Ideal Candidate Profile
  • Minimum of 2 years in software development, consulting, or support roles across various industries.
  • Understanding of enterprise-level software architectures, application development practices, and operational deployment.
  • Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Java, C++, C#, Python, JavaScript, Ruby, Perl, Scala, or Go.
  • Experience with database systems including MongoDB, Oracle, MS SQL Server, and PostgreSQL.
  • Familiarity with Linux diagnostics and tuning; knowledge of Windows tuning is advantageous.
  • Strong analytical, diagnostic, and problem-solving capabilities.
  • High enthusiasm for a role that merges technical expertise with customer engagement.
  • Confidence in presenting and communicating in client-facing situations.
Role Expectations

As a vital member of the COMbridge Professional Services team, your responsibilities will include:

  • Contributing to client implementations throughout all stages of the application lifecycle, including assessment, planning, design, deployment, integration, testing, and optimization.
  • Delivering training sessions for clients in architect, developer, and operations roles.
  • Collaborating with a broader delivery team consisting of fellow consultants, project managers, and account representatives.
  • Establishing your reputation as a trusted advisor to guide clients and COMbridge into the future.
  • Partnering with Product and Engineering teams to influence the development of our product roadmap.
  • Willingness to travel as necessary to meet client preferences for in-person engagements.
Success Metrics

Success in the Consulting Engineer role will be measured by your ability to:

  • Clearly articulate complex technical proposals to diverse audiences.
  • Ensure client success in their technology initiatives.
  • Maintain a high level of billable utilization.
  • Contribute field insights to inform product development.
