About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Home Support Worker to join our team at Rima Frangian. As a Home Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our clients in their own homes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer bedside and personal care to clients, ensuring their dignity and comfort are maintained at all times.
  • Assist clients with bathing, dressing, and other aspects of personal hygiene, promoting independence and confidence.
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals, taking into account clients' dietary needs and preferences.
  • Provide companionship and social interaction, engaging clients in activities that promote mental and emotional well-being.
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, maintaining a safe and healthy environment for clients.
  • Administer medications, as prescribed by healthcare professionals, and monitor clients' response to treatment.
  • Assist clients with mobility and transfer, using equipment such as walkers and wheelchairs as needed.
  • Provide emotional support and reassurance, helping clients to cope with stress and anxiety.
Requirements
  • CPR Certificate and First Aid Certificate.
  • Experience working with elderly clients, preferably in a home care setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and their families.
  • Physical stamina to perform tasks that require standing, walking, and lifting, with or without assistance.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to scheduling and tasks.
