Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at Christian Horizons. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in building communities that value the contributions of people who experience developmental disabilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist individuals with activities of daily living, such as personal care, meal preparation, and household chores.
  • Work collaboratively with families, advocates, friends, and community partners to promote full citizenship and enhance relationships.
  • Recognize and respect individuals' right to self-determination, and encourage continuous growth and development.
Requirements
  • Satisfactory 3-year Uncertified Driver's Abstract
  • Valid G Driving License and access to reliable transportation
  • Documentation of COVID-19 vaccination
Preferred Qualifications
  • 3-6 Months Experience (volunteer or employment)
  • Developmental Services Worker, Child and Youth Worker, or post-secondary education in a related field
