Job Title: Quality Specialist

At RGBSI, we are seeking a highly skilled Quality Specialist to join our team. As a Quality Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality standards in our automotive engineering, manufacturing, and quality landscape.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform root cause analysis of quality issues, utilizing advanced problem-solving tools to recommend and implement cost-effective permanent corrective actions.
  • Analyze quality data from internal and external indicators, manage engineering changes, and work with cross-functional teams to ensure timely execution.
  • Conduct product evaluation tests to ensure robustness of product or process change before full implementation.
  • Ensure delivery of third-party quality metrics, provide creative thinking to the analysis of data, and identify new opportunities.
  • Develop and execute standardization, with a focus on Powertrain quality.
  • Plan, prioritize, set goals, and manage multiple projects in a technical and business environment.
  • Establish partnerships both internally and externally, and influence without direct authority.
Requirements:
  • Reactive Black Belt and Green Belt training, with completed projects.
  • A minimum of years Powertrain Quality experience.
  • Thorough understanding of Engines & Driveline components.
  • Thorough understanding of structured problem-solving and root cause analysis.
  • Ability to stand and be on your feet for long periods in a manufacturing environment.
Preferred Requirements:
  • Black Belt or Green Belt certification.
  • Experience launching engine programs.
  • Manufacturing, design release, and/or supplier quality experience are strongly desired.
  • Knowledge of engines, transmissions, and driveline components is strongly desired.
  • Experience working in a lean/flat organization with cross-functional skills.
Education:
  • Bachelor's of Science in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering required.
