Key Responsibilities:

As a Marine Mechanical Inspector, you will provide expertise in equipment breakdown loss prevention through the execution of regular inspections, risk assessments, claims investigations, and other related tasks as assigned. You will evaluate commercial and industrial sites with a variety of equipment, including HVAC systems, boilers, pressure vessels, and production machinery. Your role will involve managing a designated territory while effectively achieving productivity targets. You will contribute to the ongoing enhancement of The Engineering Institute of Canada's portfolio.

Required Qualifications:

  1. Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in maintenance or operations, particularly in production, power generation, or refrigeration.
  2. Experience with maintenance or operations related to boilers and pressure vessels is advantageous.
  3. Completion of post-secondary technical education.
  4. A background in Marine, Mechanical, or Stationary Engineering is beneficial but not mandatory.
  5. Familiarity with ASME codes concerning boilers and pressure vessels is a plus, though not required.
  6. Excellent oral and written communication skills, alongside proficiency in computer applications, including report writing.
  7. Self-driven with outstanding organizational abilities.
  8. Possession of a valid driver's license, with the capability to travel long distances and undertake overnight trips as necessary.
  9. Willingness to travel to remote and rural locations, which may involve flights and overnight stays.
  10. Commitment to providing exceptional client service.
