Job Title: Executive Chef Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef Assistant to join our team at Denny's Restaurants. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for assisting the Executive Chef in the preparation and presentation of high-quality dishes, as well as training and supervising kitchen staff.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Executive Chef in menu planning, food preparation, and presentation.
  • Train and supervise kitchen staff to ensure high-quality food preparation and presentation.
  • Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment.
  • Clean and sanitize kitchen areas, including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances, and equipment.
  • Manage kitchen operations to ensure efficient and safe food preparation and service.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a kitchen environment.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
