Job Title: Executive Chef

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Executive Chef to join our team at DC Foods Canada Ltd. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for leading our kitchen operations and ensuring the highest quality of food is served to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and prepare menus, taking into account seasonal ingredients and customer preferences
  • Supervise and train kitchen staff, including cooks, sous chefs, and kitchen assistants
  • Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure cleanliness and safety standards are met
  • Order supplies and equipment, managing inventory and maintaining records
  • Develop and implement new recipes and menu items, staying up-to-date with culinary trends and techniques

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in a senior culinary role, preferably in a restaurant or food service environment
  • Proven track record of menu development, kitchen management, and team leadership
  • Strong knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and handling procedures
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff, customers, and suppliers
