Realtime Digital Control System Software/Systems Designer

We are seeking a highly skilled Realtime Digital Control System Software/Systems Designer to join our team at AtkinsRéalis. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and developing software and systems for our clients in the nuclear industry.
Key Responsibilities- Develop software requirements specifications, software design descriptions, and software manuals for digital control systems.
- Design and develop software and systems for real-time digital control systems, including programming languages such as IEC 61131-3, C, C++, VHDL, Fortran, Pascal, and Visual Studio.
- Test and verify software and systems to ensure they meet the required standards and specifications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement software and systems solutions.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including guides and procedures for software development and testing.
- Participate in the development of software and systems for safety-critical applications in the nuclear industry.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field of engineering or computer science from a recognized university.
- 5-8 years of experience in a computer controls environment, with a focus on software design and development.
- Familiarity with software design and development based on industry guidelines and standards, such as IEC 61131-3.
- Excellent technical skills, problem-solving capabilities, and communication skills.
