Job Title: Live-in Caregiver, Child Care

DR. JOSEPH ENGLISH BUWEMBO is seeking a reliable and compassionate live-in caregiver to provide top-notch childcare services for a family in need. As a live-in caregiver, you will be responsible for the daily care and well-being of the children, including feeding, bathing, and putting them to bed.

Job Description:Work Environment:

The ideal candidate will have a non-smoking and scent-free work environment, with optional accommodation available at no charge on a live-in basis. The caregiver will work in the employer's/client's home, with relocation costs not covered by the employer.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide high-quality childcare services, including feeding, bathing, and putting children to bed.
  • Assume full responsibility for household duties in the absence of the parents.
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties.
  • Travel with the family on trips and assist with child supervision and housekeeping duties.
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals.
  • Keep records of daily activities and health information regarding the children.
  • Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home.
  • Organize activities such as games and outings for the children.
  • Supervise and care for the children.
  • Tend to the emotional well-being of the children.
  • Help the children with homework.
  • Cook.
Requirements:
  • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience an asset.
  • International English Language Testing System (IELTS) proficiency test.
  • CPR Certificate.
  • First Aid Certificate.
  • Early Childhood Education (ECE) Certificate.
Security and Safety:
  • Criminal record check.
  • Medical exam.
  • Reference required.
