DR. JOSEPH ENGLISH BUWEMBO is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Childcare Professional to join our team as a Live-In Caregiver. This is a permanent position that requires a strong commitment to providing exceptional care and support to infants and children in a family setting.
Key Responsibilities- Provide high-quality childcare and support to infants and children, including bathing, dressing, feeding, and engaging in activities that promote their physical, emotional, and cognitive development.
- Assume full responsibility for household duties, including light housekeeping, cleaning, and meal preparation, in the absence of parents.
- Travel with the family on trips and assist with child supervision and housekeeping duties.
- Prepare and serve nutritious meals, and maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home.
- Keep records of daily activities and health information regarding children, and maintain confidentiality.
- Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, and maintain a clean and organized living environment.
- Supervise and care for children, and provide guidance and support as needed.
- Help children with homework, and engage in activities that promote their educational and personal development.
- College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
- Experience in childcare or a related field is an asset.
- International English Language Testing System (IELTS) proficiency test.
- CPR Certificate.
- First Aid Certificate.
- Early Childhood Education (ECE) Certificate.
The work environment is non-smoking and scent-free. The employer's/client's home is the primary work site, and the caregiver will be required to work in a live-in capacity. Relocation costs are not covered by the employer.
