Responsibilities:- Provide high-quality childcare for children, including bathing, dressing, feeding, and supervising their daily activities.
- Assume full responsibility for household duties, including light housekeeping, cleaning, and meal preparation.
- Develop and implement engaging activities for children, such as games, outings, and educational programs.
- Maintain a safe and healthy environment for children, including ensuring their physical and emotional well-being.
- Communicate effectively with parents and other caregivers to ensure seamless care and support for children.
- Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, including laundry, ironing, and meal preparation.
- Travel with the family on trips and assist with child supervision and housekeeping duties.
- Prepare and serve nutritious meals for the family.
- Keep records of daily activities and health information regarding children.
- Supervise and care for children, including administering medication and providing first aid when necessary.
- College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
- Experience in childcare or a related field is an asset.
- International English Language Testing System (IELTS) proficiency test.
- CPR Certificate.
- First Aid Certificate.
- Early Childhood Education (ECE) Certificate.
- Criminal record check.
- Medical exam.
- Reference required.
The live-in caregiver will work in a non-smoking, scent-free environment and will be required to relocate for this position.
