We are seeking a skilled and experienced Long Haul Truck Driver to join our team at 12849682 Canada Inc.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for operating a commercial truck to transport goods and materials over long distances. This is a physically demanding role that requires a high level of organization, teamwork, and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate a commercial truck: Safely transport goods and materials over long distances, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
  • Load and unload goods: Ensure that goods are properly loaded and unloaded, and that the truck is secure and ready for transport.
  • Perform routine maintenance: Regularly inspect and maintain the truck to ensure it is in good working condition.
  • Work with a team: Collaborate with other drivers and support staff to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
  • Meet safety standards: Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience as a long haul truck driver.
  • Certifications: AZ class license, Air Brakes Endorsement, Air Brake (Z) Endorsement, and Driver's License (Class 1 or A).
Work Environment:

This is an on-the-road job that requires the ability to work independently and as part of a team. The successful candidate will be required to work a 35-hour week, with overtime as needed.
