Job Summary

GTL Transportation Inc is seeking a skilled Long Haul Truck Driver to join our team. As a key member of our operations, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials across various locations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Transportation: Drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials, ensuring timely delivery and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Regularly inspect and maintain the condition of the vehicle, including tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment.
  • Logistics: Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption, ensuring accurate and efficient logistics management.
  • Communication: Receive and relay information to central dispatch, maintaining effective communication with the team.
  • Navigation: Operate GPS and other navigation equipment to ensure efficient route planning and execution.
Requirements
  • Certifications: Possess a valid AZ class license and a valid driver's license.
  • Language: Fluency in English is required.
  • Work Environment: Willingness to travel cross-border, travel for extended periods, and work overnight.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to sit for extended periods and maintain attention to detail.
  • Personal Qualities: Flexibility, organization, reliability, and a team player attitude.
