Job Summary

The Chan Centre for the Performing Arts is seeking highly motivated and proactive individuals to join our Customer Services team as Front of House Attendants. As a key member of our team, you will provide exceptional guest service to patrons and clients, ensuring a positive experience at our various venues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide ticket-taking, ushering, coat checking, and bartending services during performances and events
  • Respond to the needs of patrons and clients in a courteous and effective manner
  • Work collaboratively with the Front of House Captain/Bar Captain and other team members to ensure seamless event execution
  • Maintain a high level of knowledge about the Chan Centre's events, policies, and procedures

Requirements:

  • High school graduation and a minimum of two years' experience in the performing arts or a related field
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups
  • Ability to work irregular hours, including evenings and weekends, and respond to on-call demands
  • Physical ability to perform the duties of the job, including lifting up to 15kg and standing for long periods of time
