The Customer Services department of the Chan Centre for the Performing Arts is seeking highly motivated and proactive individuals to provide exceptional guest service as Front of House Attendants.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Provide exceptional guest service in accordance with Chan Centre policies and standards.
  • Perform a variety of duties during performances and events, including ticket-taking, ushering, coat checking, bartending, and responding to patron needs.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple tasks and responsibilities simultaneously.
  • Collaborate with Front of House Captain/Bar Captain and other team members to ensure seamless event execution.
Requirements:
  • High school graduation.
  • Minimum two years' experience in the performing arts or a related field.
  • Willingness to respect diverse perspectives and demonstrate a commitment to enhancing one's own awareness, knowledge, and skills related to equity, diversity, and inclusion.
  • Preferred qualifications include completion of the Serving It Right Servers certificate, theatre/concert hall experience, and knowledge and experience in theatre or a related field.
Working Conditions:

Front of House Attendants work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, often on weekends and evenings. They must be able to work irregular hours, including on-call shifts, and be available to work during peak periods.
