Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Program Services Caseworker to join our team at The Salvation Army. As a key member of our residential facility, you will play a vital role in supporting clients and contributing to the day-to-day operations of the facility.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain an active caseload and provide primary support casework to clients.
  • Conduct intake and assessments, create service plans, and provide case management services and clinical interventions for assigned clients.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with community resources and services to support clients' needs.
  • Record activities and incidents occurring during shifts in a factual and concise manner.
  • Perform administrative tasks, including reporting and documentation, to ensure accurate and timely information.
Requirements
  • College diploma or equivalent post-secondary education in a related field.
  • Valid Ontario Class "G" Driver's License and a current copy of a Driver's abstract.
  • Experience working with homelessness, mental health, and related issues.
  • Strong knowledge of community resources and services.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Working Conditions
  • This is a permanent full-time position.
  • Shift schedules may vary.
  • Minimal travel required.
