Job Title: Senior Analyst

Job Summary:

Sabic Americas, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Senior Analyst to join our Manufacturing Finance team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing financial advice and analysis to support critical decision making and cost optimization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide financial analysis and advice to support business decisions and cost optimization.
  • Partner with operations to develop KPIs and improve cost models and forecasting tools.
  • Develop strategic analysis to maximize profit and optimize asset loading.
  • Assist with financial budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
  • Provide monthly manufacturing cost and KPI analysis.
  • Assist in planning and forecasting, and provide meaningful variance analysis and recommendations.
  • Monitor and provide guidance on financial analysis for the MTV Landlord arrangements.
  • Partner with Business Unit Finance on strategic projects and analysis.
  • Test assumptions and validate benefits associated with capital investment projects.
  • Assist with special projects and initiatives.
  • Report regional monthly fixed cash cost, overtime, utilities, and production data.
  • Assist with product costing and general ledger accounting.
  • Participate in benchmarking teams and provide relevant cost and usage data.
  • Mentor summer students, interns, or temporary help within the department.
  • Work with leadership as a Cost/Cash champion for cost out projects.

Requirements:

  • University degree in Finance, Accounting, or equivalent field.
  • At least 3-5 years of accounting and cost control experience.
  • SAP experience preferred.
  • Cross-functional team leadership skills.
  • Strong business acumen and operational mindset.
  • Ability to work independently and self-directed.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and influencing skills.
  • Interest and experience in manufacturing finance and financial planning and analysis.
  • General knowledge of Sabic products and manufacturing processes.
  • Proven track record of successful project management and process improvement.
  • Demonstrated financial knowledge.

Eligibility Requirements:

  • Must submit application for employment online.
  • Must be 18 years or older.
  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work for SABIC in the United States on a full-time basis.

Work Availability:

Regular, predictable attendance is an essential function of this position. Applicants must be regularly available and willing to work during assigned hours of operation and such other hours as the company determines are necessary or desirable to meet business needs.
