Key Responsibilities:
  • Guest Registration: Register arriving guests and assign rooms, ensuring accurate and efficient processing.
  • Front Desk Operations: Process group arrivals and departures, take, cancel, and change room reservations, and provide information on hotel facilities and services.
  • Cash Handling: Process guests' departures, calculate charges, and receive payments, balancing cash and completing balance sheets and related forms.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain an inventory of vacancies, reservations, and room assignments, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information.
  • Emergency Procedures: Follow emergency and safety procedures, ensuring the well-being of guests and staff.
  • Clerical Duties: Perform various clerical tasks, including faxing, filing, photocopying, and answering telephone calls and messages.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, responding to guest inquiries and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Work Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a hospitality industry setting.
  • Language: English or French.
  • Work Schedule: 30 hours per week.
