Job Title: Interior Designer

We are seeking a highly skilled Interior Designer to join our team at Figurr Architects Collective. As an Interior Designer, you will be responsible for creating functional and aesthetically pleasing interior spaces that meet the needs of our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop detailed specifications and plans for interior spaces, taking into account ergonomic and occupational health standards.
  • Collaborate with architects and other professionals in multidisciplinary urban design studies.
  • Prepare presentation graphics and drawings to communicate design concepts to clients.
  • Estimate costs and materials for interior design projects.
  • Ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, and building codes.
Requirements:
  • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1-2 years.
  • 5 years or more of experience in interior design.
  • Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software, including ARCHICAD, AutoCAD, and Autodesk REVIT.
  • Strong knowledge of design principles, materials, and finishes.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Green economy sector experience.
  • Specialized environmental skills and knowledge.
  • Commercial domain experience.
