Job Title: Conveyor Belt Splicer

We are seeking a skilled Conveyor Belt Splicer to join our team at Viacore Solutions Inc.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for checking and monitoring product quality, training or assisting in the training of other workers, operating machines or equipment to cut, shape, splice, fit and cement rubber materials to form rubber parts or finished rubber products, inspecting finished rubber products for defects and conformance to specifications and quality standards, making minor adjustments or repairs to products, troubleshooting and locating faults, performing corrective machine adjustments, performing light housekeeping and cleaning duties, and loading and unloading trucks with supplies and equipment.

Responsibilities:
  • Check and monitor product quality to ensure conformance to specifications and quality standards.
  • Train or assist in the training of other workers to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties.
  • Operate machines or equipment to cut, shape, splice, fit and cement rubber materials to form rubber parts or finished rubber products.
  • Inspect finished rubber products for defects and conformance to specifications and quality standards.
  • Make minor adjustments or repairs to products as needed.
  • Troubleshoot and locate faults in machines or equipment.
  • Perform corrective machine adjustments to ensure optimal performance.
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties to maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Load and unload trucks with supplies and equipment as needed.
Requirements:
  • Physically demanding work environment.
  • Manual dexterity and attention to detail required.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Combination of sitting, standing, walking, bending, crouching, and kneeling.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.
