Job Title: Daycare Worker

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Daycare Worker to join our team at Octopus Academy Inc. dba Octopus Academy. As a Daycare Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and education to infants and young children.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement child-care programs that foster and enhance the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social growth of children
  • Establish and uphold an environment that guarantees the safety, health, and overall welfare of children
  • Assist and lead children in the development of appropriate eating, dressing, and toileting habits
  • Recognize potential signs of learning or behavioral issues in children and prepare reports for parents, guardians, or supervisors
  • Evaluate the interests and needs of children, engaging in discussions with parents and staff members regarding their progress and any obstacles they might be encountering
Requirements:
  • College Certificate or diploma in early childhood education is required
  • Experience is an asset
