Asset Protection Investigator

About the Role:
Hudson's Bay is seeking a highly skilled Asset Protection Investigator to join our team. As a key member of our Asset Protection team, you will be responsible for identifying and mitigating operational deficiencies that impact store and corporate objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate the timely and accurate execution of all asset protection initiatives in accordance with Company standards.
- Effectively utilize store communication systems to promote asset protection initiatives.
- Conduct store audits to ensure compliance with store policies and procedures.
- Detect and apprehend shoplifters, completing related documentation.
- Implement asset protection procedures to reduce shortage.
- Develop innovative solutions to everyday challenges.
- Approach issues with a unique perspective, identifying opportunities for improvement.
- Maintain a proactive and can-do attitude.
Requirements:
- Valid region/market-specific security license (exception: Nova Scotia and Saskatchewan).
- Awareness of retail procedures and civil proceedings is an asset.
- Flexibility with schedule, including evenings and weekends.
