About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Asset Protection Investigator to join our team at Hudson's Bay. As a key member of our Asset Protection team, you will be responsible for leading the investigation and prevention of loss and theft within our stores.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough investigations into incidents of loss and theft, gathering evidence and interviewing witnesses as needed.
  • Develop and implement effective strategies to prevent loss and theft, including training employees and monitoring store operations.
  • Collaborate with store management and other departments to ensure a cohesive approach to loss prevention.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in loss prevention, sharing knowledge and expertise with the team.
  • Work closely with law enforcement and other external agencies as needed to resolve incidents and prevent future losses.
Requirements
  • Valid security license (region/market specific) is required.
  • Experience in retail security or a related field is essential.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound judgments.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.
