Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
  • Experience: Candidates should have between 1 to less than 7 months of relevant experience.
Key Responsibilities
  • Assist emergency response teams in investigating incidents related to gas fires and explosions.
  • Respond to calls regarding gas leaks and ensure prompt service.
  • Install gas heating systems and their essential components.
  • Accurately measure and mark reference points for the installation of gas lines and equipment.
  • Perform maintenance and servicing of gas heating units and their components.
  • Install and maintain gas meters, regulators, and the piping connecting gas units to meters.
  • Repair and service gas appliances and associated equipment.
  • Provide clients with guidance on safety standards, features, and maintenance of gas systems.
  • Supervise and coordinate the work of other technicians.
  • Analyze blueprints and specifications to determine installation layouts and required materials.
  • Conduct tests and adjustments on control mechanisms, ensuring pipes and connections are leak-free using detection devices.
  • Identify and replace defective components or equipment as necessary.
