Job Summary

Ultimate Co. is seeking a skilled Drywall Finisher to join our team. As a Drywall Finisher, you will be responsible for applying successive coats of compound and sanding seams and joints, as well as installing metal corner beads and suspended metal ceiling grids.

Key Responsibilities
  • Apply coats of compound and sand seams and joints to ensure a smooth finish
  • Install metal corner beads to protect exterior corners and suspended metal ceiling grids to form acoustical and coffered ceilings
  • Fabricate and install drywall sheets, measuring, cutting, and fitting them to metal or wooden studs or joists
  • Fill joints, nail indentations, holes, and cracks with joint compound using a trowel and broad knife
Requirements
  • 2 years of experience in drywall finishing and installation
  • Ability to work in a dusty environment and stand for extended periods
  • Hand-eye coordination and ability to perform repetitive tasks
  • Physical stamina to lift and move heavy materials
