Job Title: Drywall Finisher

Ultimate Co. is seeking a skilled Drywall Finisher to join our team. As a Drywall Finisher, you will be responsible for applying successive coats of compound and sanding seams and joints, as well as cutting and installing metal corner beads to protect exterior corners.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Apply successive coats of compound and sand seams and joints
  • Cut and install metal corner beads to protect exterior corners
  • Fabricate and install suspended metal ceiling grids and place in panels to form acoustical and coffered ceilings
  • Fill joints, nail indentations, holes, and cracks with joint compound using a trowel and broad knife
  • Measure, cut, fit, and install drywall sheets
  • Position and secure sheets to metal or wooden studs or joists
Requirements:
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma required
  • Hand-eye coordination
  • Large workload
  • Physically demanding
  • Repetitive tasks
  • Standing for extended periods
