Overview: The Platforms and Channels division is dedicated to delivering innovative technology products and services that facilitate seamless access to S&P Global Data for our clientele through self-service platforms and advanced technology solutions.

Role of Product Management: The P&C Product Management team collaborates with internal stakeholders to grasp business strategies and formulate data distribution technology solutions tailored for S&P Global's various divisions and product lines.

Responsibilities: The P&C Data Distribution product management team is tasked with steering the direction of technology products, aiming to construct platforms that fulfill stakeholder needs and deliver software functionalities in releases that generate business value.

The technology product owner is accountable for the data distribution technology features associated with Xpressfeed, ensuring alignment with business objectives and the evolution of technology product capabilities.

Key Duties:

  • Collaborate with P&C product managers and product owners to manage technology product roadmaps and backlogs.
  • Translate business requirements into defined features for development, crafting user stories and prioritizing development tasks that encompass all functional features, technical debt, audit, and compliance needs.
  • Evaluate and manage the implications of changes in requirements on technology systems and infrastructure.
  • Participate in or lead project sizing, planning, and tracking activities for feature development.
  • Drive the advancement of feature evolution for core technology capabilities.
  • Engage with data and products across the S&P Global enterprise.

Qualifications: A proven background in Product Management and the development of mission-critical systems is essential. Familiarity with development methodologies such as Agile, Waterfall, ITIL, and Kanban is highly desirable.
