Child Development Professor

We are seeking a highly qualified individual to join our team as a tenure-track professor in the Department of Psychology at St. Thomas More College, a Catholic liberal arts college federated with the University of Saskatchewan.
About the PositionThis is a tenure-track position in Psychology with a child development emphasis at the Assistant or Associate Professor rank. The successful candidate will be named the Lois M. Brockman Professor in Child Development and will contribute to the college's distinctive Minor in Social Justice and the Common Good.
Responsibilities- Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in Psychology, with a focus on child development
- Conduct research in child development, with a focus on community-based methods and Indigenous-centered approaches
- Supervise undergraduate and graduate students in research projects
- Contribute to the development of the college's research agenda in child development
The successful candidate will have a PhD in Psychology with an emphasis on child development, and will demonstrate excellence or the promise of excellence in teaching, research, and service. Experience with community-based research methods, EDI-oriented research methods, and/or Indigenous-centered research and methods is an asset.
What We OfferWe offer a comprehensive benefits package, a competitive salary range of $99,945 to $140,253, and a supportive work environment. The successful candidate will also have access to research funding and a reduced teaching load.
