We are seeking a skilled Manufacturing Designer to play a pivotal role in optimizing building models for installation and logistics sequencing. The ideal candidate will work collaboratively across departments, utilizing CAD software like Dietrichs, Solidworks, Rhino, and Grasshopper to optimize panel nesting and design logistics for shipment and installation.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Develop and implement manufacturing design policies and procedures to ensure efficient production processes.
  • Optimize billet sizes for press capacity and minimize waste to reduce costs and environmental impact.
  • Generate detailed models and drawings using CAD software to facilitate production planning and logistics.
  • Plan and coordinate production and logistics efficiently to meet customer demands and deadlines.
  • Participate in CAD process automation and safety improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce errors.

**Qualifications & Skills:**

  • Proven experience in Rhino, Grasshopper, and Solidworks, with a strong understanding of technical design principles.
  • Ability to design and develop products from concept to manufacturing, with a focus on sustainability and environmental responsibility.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Diligent, resilient, and entrepreneurial mindset, with a passion for innovation and continuous improvement.

**Education and Experience:**

  • Engineering degree or diploma, with a focus on sustainable building design and manufacturing.
  • 2+ years of experience in CAD software, particularly Rhino and Grasshopper, with a strong understanding of technical design principles.
