Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and reliable individual to join our team as a Cook at Richard Donair. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods, as well as supervising kitchen staff and helpers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods, following established recipes and presentation standards.
  • Supervision: Supervise kitchen staff and helpers, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient and effective food preparation and service.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment, ensuring that all necessary items are stocked and available for use.
  • Cleanliness: Clean kitchen and work areas, maintaining a clean and safe environment for food preparation and service.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a kitchen environment.
  • Personal Suitability: Organized, reliable, and a team player.
Work Environment

As a Cook at Richard Donair, you will work in a fast-paced kitchen environment, preparing and cooking food for our customers. You will be required to work a variety of shifts, including mornings, afternoons, and evenings, and may be required to work on weekends and holidays.
