Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Application Engineer to join our team at Altair Engineering. As a key member of our aerospace team, you will be responsible for delivering technical content to our clients, including presentations, demonstrations, and evaluations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with account managers to develop and implement sales strategies
  • Deliver technical content to customers, including presentations, demonstrations, and evaluations
  • Establish long-term relationships with assigned accounts and align Altair solutions with client business initiatives
  • Identify areas of opportunity at the account to displace competition, add products, add users, and expand usage globally
  • Contribute to account-based marketing strategies and drive technology deployment and adoption

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering
  • Full UK driving license and UK passport
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience working in an aerospace OEM or Tier 1 Aerospace Supplier
  • Experience using commercial CAE tools within an engineering environment
  • Experience using Altair HyperWorks, OptiStruct, RADIOSS, or other CAE simulation software
  • Familiarity with aerospace processes and standards
  • Good oral and written communication skills in fluent English
