Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Application Engineer to join our team at Altair Engineering. As a key member of our aerospace team, you will be responsible for delivering technical content to customers, working closely with account managers, and establishing long-term relationships with our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver technical presentations, demonstrations, and evaluations to customers
  • Work closely with account managers to develop sales strategies and plans
  • Establish and maintain long-term relationships with clients
  • Identify areas of opportunity to displace competition and expand usage globally
  • Contribute to account-based marketing strategies and drive technology deployment and adoption

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering
  • Full UK driving license and UK passport
  • Minimum 5 years of experience working in an aerospace OEM or Tier 1 Aerospace Supplier
  • Experience using commercial CAE tools within an engineering environment
  • Experience with programming languages (TCL/Python or similar)
