Your Role

We are in search of a Project Manager eager to utilize their expertise in the infrastructure services sector within the Atlantic Team. You possess prior experience in leading and executing infrastructure projects of varying scope and complexity, particularly in areas such as water and wastewater, renewable energy, and/or ports and marine. You have established yourself as a trusted advisor to clients, building strong, enduring relationships with senior leaders and decision-makers.

Responsibilities

  • Cultivate robust client relationships and serve as the primary point of contact throughout the project to achieve client objectives.
  • Oversee programs or projects and large capital initiatives, varying in size, complexity, and scope.
  • Manage all stakeholders, including clients and consultants.
  • Ensure that client expectations are consistently met or exceeded across all projects while representing the client's best interests regarding contractual and technical matters.
  • Select and organize project teams, establishing authority levels and communication lines.
  • Lead the management of project-related documents, ensuring compliance with Colliers Project Leaders' Quality Management System and procedures.
  • Chair project and site meetings, resolve issues, and effectively coordinate among multiple stakeholders.
  • Maintain contact with existing and prospective clients, responding to business development and sales opportunities with support from the Business Development Team, Principal, or Regional Vice President.
  • Regularly report on project status through schedule updates, meeting minutes, financial records, and other reports.
  • Provide oversight and leadership in the change management process, payment certificates, and other contract or project-related administrative documents.

Qualifications

  • A university degree or diploma in engineering, architecture, construction management, or quantity surveying (or an equivalent combination of academic and practical experience).
  • 5 - 7 years of project management experience, representing owners in the delivery of building developments.
  • Proven experience in the initiation, planning, and execution of complex infrastructure projects.
  • Experience in one or more of the following sectors is an asset: Water and Wastewater, Renewable Energy, Ports and Marine.
  • Strong understanding of best practice Project Management methodologies and procedures within a PMO environment.
  • Effective client management and people management skills, with the ability to influence others and resolve a variety of client and technical issues successfully.
  • Detail-oriented leader capable of thriving in a process-driven environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in scheduling (MS Project), word processing (Word), and spreadsheet (Excel) software applications.
  • P. Eng or PMP designation is an asset.
