Senior Architect, Healthcare Infrastructure

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Architect to join our Healthcare Infrastructure Division. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing the design and implementation phase of Provincial Healthcare Infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities- Manage the design and implementation phase of Healthcare Infrastructure projects, ensuring timely completion and adherence to budget, schedule, and quality standards.
- Support the definition of project scope and gather information from stakeholders to ensure project success.
- Oversee programming, planning, and pre-design activities, ensuring alignment with organizational requirements.
- Collaborate with procurement teams to select contractors that meet organizational standards.
- Ensure architectural work is completed on schedule, within budget, and meets quality and policy requirements.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders to mitigate project risks and ensure project objectives are met.
- Registration with the Nova Scotia Association of Architects or eligibility for registration.
- Bachelor's degree in architecture, engineering, or a related discipline.
- Equivalent combinations of training, education, and experience may be considered.
- Proven experience in managing large infrastructure projects, with strong project management skills.
- Ability to review and red-line construction documents, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Experience in Public-Private Partnerships (P3) or healthcare facilities is an asset.
