As a Project Coordinator - BIM/VDC Specialist, you will play a crucial role in supporting our Project Services and BIM/VDC team in providing top-notch support services for various established BIM/VDC tools.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in Providing Support Services: Collaborate with the Project Services and BIM/VDC team to provide support services for various established BIM/VDC tools, including models, schedules, estimates, and documents.
  • Conduct Research and Testing: Conduct research on innovative products and perform testing to ensure the best solutions for our projects.
  • Implement and Monitor BIM/VDC Tools: Implement, initiate, and monitor BIM/VDC tools on construction sites to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Structure and Address Project Data: Structure and address project data at tender, operations, and claim phases to ensure accurate and timely information.
  • Assist with Quantity Take-Offs: Assist with quantity take-offs to ensure accurate estimates and project planning.
  • Coordinate Models and Ensure Interoperability: Coordinate models, oversee the coordination process, ensure model capability, model types, and model interoperability to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Implement and Administer Common Data Environment Platforms: Implement and administrate common data environment platforms to ensure efficient data management.
  • Teach and Audit to Ensure Compliance: Teach and audit to ensure compliance with standards and management plans to ensure high-quality project execution.
  • Distribute Tasks and Provide Training: Distribute tasks, as required, to members and specialists within the Project Services Team and provide training, support, and service related to the coordination of data on collaboration platforms and other tools.
  • Optimize Monitoring Tools: Optimize monitoring tools for department management to ensure efficient project execution.
Requirements
  • Degree in Civil Engineering or Equivalent: Possess a degree in Civil Engineering or an equivalent field.
  • Experience in Site Operations: Have experience in site operations, submissions, and project completion.
  • Understanding of Construction Workflows: Have a solid understanding of construction workflows in the civil field.
  • Knowledge of BIM/VDC Processes: Possess knowledge of BIM/VDC processes and their applications in construction projects.
  • Mastery of ACC Platform: Have mastery of the ACC platform and its applications in construction projects.
  • Interest in Innovation: Demonstrate an interest in innovation and its applications in construction projects.
  • Basic Modeling Software Proficiency: Possess basic modeling software proficiency and experience in using various software tools.
  • Programming Skills (PowerBI, PowerQuery): Possess programming skills in PowerBI and PowerQuery, considered an asset.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite: Possess knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and its applications in construction projects.
  • Bilingual - Written and Oral Fluency: Possess bilingual - written and oral fluency in French and English.
