Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Campus Dining Hall and Catering Manager to join our team at Aramark. As a key member of our food service team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing dining solutions for our student dining hall and catering services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement dining solutions for the student dining hall and catering services
  • Oversee and manage dining operations, including food preparation, presentation, and service
  • Manage catering events for campus functions, including planning, coordination, and execution
  • Lead a team of 20+ FOH and BOH staff during meal service, ensuring excellent customer service and a safe and healthy environment
  • Conduct food inventory and assist with staff scheduling to manage labor costs
  • Develop positive working relationships with customers, mitigating any complaints or concerns
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards
Requirements
  • Minimum of 2+ years in restaurant or hotel food & beverage management
  • Post-secondary culinary or hospitality diploma preferred or equivalent experience
  • Good leadership skills, ability to train and manage unionized staff and resolve problems
  • Ability to maintain effective customer rapport for mutually beneficial business relationships
  • Ability to demonstrate excellent customer service using Aramark's standard service model
  • Must be flexible to work all shifts, including days, evenings, and weekends
