Position Overview

As a key contributor in our automotive service environment, the role of the Paint Technician Assistant involves a variety of essential tasks aimed at ensuring high-quality paint application on vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:


• Assess and determine the paint requirements for each vehicle accurately.


• Adhere to established operating procedures to maintain quality standards.


• Work under close supervision to ensure compliance with safety and quality protocols.


• Convey information that may require some clarification or interpretation to team members.

Required Skills and Qualifications:


• Possession of a valid driver's license is mandatory.

• Ability to stand or bend for the majority of the workday; must be capable of safely maneuvering in and out of a shallow pit used for vehicle servicing.


• Physical capability to walk, stand, bend, stoop, twist, and perform tasks involving holding, grasping, pulling, and turning for extended periods.


• Flexibility to work any day of the week, including weekends, and adapt to varying weather conditions.


• Capacity to lift items weighing up to fifty (50) pounds.


• Basic computer proficiency, including the ability to use a keyboard and mouse for data entry into a point of sale system.


• Strong customer service skills are essential.


• If applicable, the ability to obtain a state-issued inspector's license is preferred.


• Keen attention to detail is crucial.


• Effective communication skills to interact clearly with customers and team members.


• Comfortable in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks to achieve objectives.


• Self-motivated individual who is capable of working independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
