GENERAL FUNCTION
The Assistant Manager II plays a pivotal role in the leadership team that propels the success of Sunglass Hut. This position collaborates closely with the Store/Multi Store Manager to manage all daily operations of the store, including sales, coaching, merchandising, talent acquisition, and retail excellence.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Leverages all company resources to achieve sales targets, develop team members, and fulfill corporate objectives. Employs analytical tools and business insight to identify performance gaps and leverage successes. Provides continuous coaching to all team members, fostering their growth and creating an inspiring work atmosphere. Attracts talent through networking and recruitment skills, conducting interviews in collaboration with the Store/Multi Store Manager. Pursues self-development opportunities as outlined in a personal development plan. Spends the majority of time on the sales floor engaging with customers. Cultivates and maintains customer relationships by utilizing all available company tools. Consistently upholds brand standards in all operations. Maintains store merchandising standards, implementing updates as necessary. Possesses in-depth product knowledge and utilizes company training resources to stay informed about new fashion and performance products. Ensures adherence to operational policies and procedures. Communicates brand strategies, promotions, contests, and incentives clearly to the team.BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or GED 1+ years of relevant experience Demonstrates proficiency in all aspects of store operations Detail-oriented and organized Utilizes critical thinking to ensure effective execution of operational tasksPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience in customer service and/or retail Previous leadership experience of 1+ yearsPay Range:
Employee compensation is influenced by various factors, including geographic location, experience, qualifications, skills, and local minimum wage laws.
