Role Overview

Canadian Tire Corporation is in search of a skilled and proactive Cloud Services Product Manager to enhance our Cloud division. This role is pivotal in overseeing our public cloud service platforms. The ideal candidate will possess a robust background in cloud solutions and agile product oversight.

Key Responsibilities

Establish and manage the product backlog for public cloud offerings. Create and sustain a product roadmap that aligns with organizational goals and stakeholder expectations. Collaborate with diverse teams, including engineering, operations, and business units, to ensure the delivery of superior products. Guarantee that the product adheres to security, compliance, and performance benchmarks. Serve as the main point of contact between stakeholders and the development team. Collect and prioritize requirements from various stakeholders, including customers and internal teams. Articulate product vision, strategy, and progress to stakeholders effectively. Facilitate agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives. Promote a culture of continuous enhancement within the team. Ensure the team delivers incremental value through iterative development processes. Oversee the deployment, management, and optimization of public cloud services. Partner with cloud engineers to ensure dependable, scalable, and cost-efficient cloud solutions. Monitor and manage cloud expenditures, ensuring alignment with the organization’s financial constraints. Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for cloud services. Implement monitoring and alerting systems to maintain high availability and reliability. Lead incident response initiatives and post-incident reviews for production challenges.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline. Over 5 years of experience in product management, particularly in cloud services and data integration. In-depth knowledge of public cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, Google Cloud). Proven track record of managing intricate projects and leading cross-functional teams. Exceptional communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management abilities. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Familiarity with agile methodologies and tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence).

Preferred Qualifications

Master’s degree in a relevant field. Certifications in cloud technologies (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect Expert). Experience in retail or large enterprise environments. Knowledge of cloud cost management and optimization strategies.
