Cloud Services Product Manager

We are looking for a skilled and proactive Product Owner to oversee our Cloud Services division. This role will be responsible for managing our public cloud service platforms. The ideal candidate should possess a robust background in cloud technologies and agile product management methodologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Establish and prioritize the product backlog for public cloud offerings.
  2. Create and sustain a product roadmap that aligns with organizational goals and stakeholder expectations.
  3. Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including engineering, operations, and business units, to deliver exceptional products.
  4. Ensure that the product adheres to security, compliance, and performance benchmarks.
  5. Act as the main point of contact between stakeholders and the development team.
  6. Collect and prioritize requirements from various stakeholders, including customers, internal teams, and executives.
  7. Articulate product vision, strategy, and progress to stakeholders effectively.
  8. Facilitate agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
  9. Promote a culture of continuous improvement within the team.
  10. Ensure the team delivers incremental value through iterative development cycles.
  11. Oversee the deployment, management, and optimization of public cloud services.
  12. Collaborate with cloud engineers to ensure reliable, scalable, and cost-effective cloud solutions.
  13. Monitor and manage cloud expenditures, ensuring alignment with the organization's budgetary constraints.
  14. Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for cloud services.
  15. Implement monitoring and alerting systems to guarantee high availability and reliability.
  16. Lead incident response efforts and conduct post-mortem analyses for production issues.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
  2. 5+ years of experience in product management, focusing on cloud services and data integration.
  3. Strong understanding of public cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, Google Cloud).
  4. Proven track record of managing complex projects and leading cross-functional teams.
  5. Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
  6. Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  7. Familiarity with agile methodologies and tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence).

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Master's degree in a relevant field.
  2. Certifications in cloud technologies (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect Expert).
  3. Experience in a retail environment or large enterprise settings.
  4. Knowledge of cloud cost management and optimization strategies.
