About the Role:

The CISSS de la Montérégie-Centre is a dynamic and stimulating work environment located in the heart of the South Shore of Montreal.

Our organization brings together over 40 facilities, including the Charles-Lemoyne Hospital, the Haut-Richelieu Hospital, several CHSLD and CLSC, GMF-UMF, a birth center, nephrology centers, visual impairment services, and more.

We have over 10,572 employees and 850 doctors working together to provide high-quality care and services to a population of 408,900 residents.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring the hygiene, well-being, and surveillance of users in a safe environment.
  • Providing comfort, general needs, and occupation to users.
  • Assisting users with their movements, transporting them, and accompanying them outside the facility when necessary.
  • Providing basic care to users and communicating with the healthcare team about their health status and behavior.
  • Installing certain equipment for which they have been trained.
  • Ensuring the availability, maintenance, and proper functioning of equipment and materials.
  • Transporting materials, samples, and documents.

Requirements:

  • Hold a DEP (APES) in Assistance to People in a Healthcare Establishment or DEP (APED) in Assistance to People in a Healthcare Establishment and at Home or AEP in Support for Long-Term Care Services.

Work Schedule:

Part-time, 7 days/14 nights.

Location:

Maison des aînés de St-Jean-sur-Richelieu.
