Fresh Produce Operations Manager

Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the daily operations of the produce department, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and objectives. Drive financial performance by achieving targets related to sales, margins, expenses, and inventory management while implementing effective sales strategies that resonate with Federated Co-operatives Limited's mission. Monitor and enhance service quality, brand reputation, and delivery timelines while identifying opportunities for operational improvements.
Develop, manage, and attain departmental budgetary goals concerning pricing, sales, margins, expenses, and inventory levels. Collaborate with the Store Manager to communicate operational needs and changes, translating the overarching vision into actionable departmental initiatives. Provide strong leadership within the department, focusing on goal setting, performance evaluation, and the training and development of team members.Importance of the Role:

A post-secondary qualification in a relevant field. 3-5 years of demonstrated experience in managing a produce department. Familiarity with retail operations and customer service principles.
