About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team at Tony's Pasta & Seafood House. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for leading our kitchen operations and ensuring that our guests receive an exceptional dining experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Planning and Execution

Develop and implement menus that showcase our restaurant's commitment to quality and freshness. Work closely with our purchasing team to source the finest ingredients and ensure that our dishes are prepared to the highest standards.

Team Leadership

Supervise and train our kitchen staff to ensure that they have the skills and knowledge necessary to deliver exceptional service. Foster a positive and inclusive team culture that encourages collaboration and open communication.

Inventory Management

Oversee the management of our kitchen inventory, including ordering supplies and equipment, and maintaining accurate records of food, supplies, and equipment.

Cleanliness and Safety

Ensure that our kitchen and work areas are clean and safe for our staff and guests. Implement and maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene.

Security Clearance

Hold a basic security clearance to ensure that our kitchen operations are secure and compliant with all relevant regulations.

Requirements
  • Education

Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

Experience

1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role

Skills

Excellent culinary skills and knowledge of food preparation and presentation. Strong leadership and communication skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain attention to detail.
