About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Kitchen Helper to join our team at SUSHIMAN JAPANESE RESTAURANT. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our dining area and kitchen.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Sanitizing: Clean and sanitize all kitchen equipment, utensils, and surfaces to maintain a high level of hygiene and cleanliness.
  • Food Preparation: Assist with food preparation, including washing, peeling, and cutting vegetables and fruit.
  • Table Setting and Clearing: Set and clear tables, ensuring that they are clean and tidy at all times.
  • Supply Management: Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas.
  • Waste Management: Remove kitchen garbage and trash, and ensure that the kitchen is kept clean and free of clutter.
  • General Kitchen Duties: Perform other general kitchen duties as required, including sweeping, mopping, and polishing floors.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: Will train.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Term: Permanent.
  • Hours: 40 hours per week.
