About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Kitchen Helper to join our team at SUSHIMAN JAPANESE RESTAURANT. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our dining area and kitchen.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Sanitation: Clean and sanitize all kitchen equipment, utensils, and work surfaces to maintain a high level of hygiene and food safety.
  • Food Preparation: Assist with food preparation, including washing, peeling, and cutting vegetables and fruits.
  • Table Setting and Maintenance: Set tables, replenish condiments and supplies, and clear and clean tables, trays, and chairs.
  • Waste Management: Remove kitchen garbage and trash, and ensure that all waste is disposed of properly.
  • Supply Management: Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas.
  • General Kitchen Duties: Perform other general kitchen duties as required, including sweeping, mopping, washing, and polishing floors.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required.
  • Experience: Willingness to train and learn on the job.
  • Language: English is the primary language of communication in the workplace.
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
